The California Consumer Justice Coalition is a partnership between five, well-respected non-profit legal services agencies: Bet Tzedek-The House of Justice (lead agency), Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Los Angeles, Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, Legal Aid Society of Orange County, and Public Counsel. Collectively, we have more than 250 years of experience ensuring that low-income families and individuals have access to the justice system. We provide help people can trust and focus on cases with the greatest merit and potential impact. Throughout the financial crisis, we have provided high-quality legal assistance to foreclosure victims and other consumers struggling with debt.

COMMUNITY ALLIES

To reach consumers in need, the California Consumer Justice Coalition works with community organizing groups, community development corporations, faith-based institutions, public libraries and others. Unfortunately, people facing foreclosure or other consumer debt problems can be targets for fraud and scams, especially if they are not aware of the free legal and other services available to them. Community Allies help us to reach people where they live in the languages they speak through community leaders they trust.  We are grateful for these partnerships.
